ok guys, i got a gigabyte motherboard, 512 ddr, amd xp 2600 with a geforce 5200fx 128mb. ok all of a suddenly around 2 months ago, everytime i use something that require more graphics such as games, or media clips, my screen would start black out and twitch and then just freeze.. odd, i thought it was the driver so i re-installed many different versions still dont seem to solve the problem. i even reformatted my computer about 3 times. now i recently tried lowering my display hardware acceleration to middle poing, now i can watch media clips, but when i try to play games such as CS, it only enables software mode.. wtf?!? so im sure its my graphic card now. what can be wrong?? is it overheating? any sug??

Graphics cards can just give out... Not being too old, I'd check it's temps in the advanced settings. If they look alright, then it's probably just faulty.

Perhaps you should test your system with a different G-card to see if it's a faulty card.
