CPUID says
GPU core 78
GPU core 61
GPU core 62
GPU core 77
I have a feeling the bottom and the top are from the same card.
Is it just me or is this way too hot? I have adequate cooling easily i have a modded case blowing 80mph wind from in industrial fan (yes and it sounds like a helicopter is landing in my room...) Is the program wrong? or do 9800gx2 just run that hot? and if they do is that safe...?
This is under load BTW but with me just surfing the web and doing this they sit at
64
57
59
58
And IMO is still hella hot my CPU is liquid cooled if that has any relevance...

what are your ambient temps? i.e. outside case, inside case, etc...

do you have a fan running air through your case? some people think that water cooling will cool your whole system but the heat will still build up in there if you don't evacuate it.

quite the opposite with phase change cooling, you have to insulate it so water vapor doesn't condense and short circuit your rig.

@ omega, i notice a 40C drop (from around 78C to around 35C) in my idle temps just by downloading "EXPERTool" for ATI cards, and changed the fan speed from "dynamic speed" to 50% of its max speed.

not sure, but maybe try going into nTune and increasing your fan speed. that should help too.
