ways of getting into windows w/o password

Okay this is borderline hacking I guess but I'm curious. Anybody know of any ways of getting around Windows logins, especially XP? A friend of mine showed me that pressing ctrl+alt+del twice will get you to the classic login screen where you can log on as Administrator if whoever installed the copy of XP didn't set an Administrator password. I asked him what he'd do if I changed all his stuff in there (he did set the pw but theoretically) and he said there were still ways around that but wouldn't tell me what they were, so is he just blowing smoke or are there other little security whoopsies that people don't think about?

And yes there are ways around it, so your friend is not just blowing smoke...but to discuss it here would be breaking the rules.

There's a handful of ways besides simply cracking the hash. Since I'm not sure whether this is against the rules or not, I'll just recommend you to use google.

maybe everyone should read through the rules before becoming a member of ANY forum!!!
