Web-Browser WMP Issue

I've been having a problem with Windows Media Player in web browsers. Whether it's Internet Explorer or Firefox, the video is extremely dark, at a point where you can barely see anything. It suddenly happened one day and it's not a simple brightness setting problem. I've tried removing Windows Media Player 11 and rolling back to 10 but no luck, same problem. Any ideas on how I can fix this? It's a big problem for me since I'm always on mlb.com watching video.

what video card do you have?
does this happen only when you view videos in your browser or also when you watch videos saved on your pc?
Is it only with WMP11 that this happens?

It's only in the web-browser, IE or Mozilla. As I said in my first post, it occurs with both WMP 10 and 11. I have an nVidia GeForce 7600 card on a very good computer. The video all worked fine on it until one day something happened.

Also, I went into my video card settings and made sure all the settings were on default. None of them had been touched.

And to correct my previous post, all video in Windows Media Player appears like this, whether it's a file in the program on the computer, or on a web-browser.
