I think one my friends has been looking at naughty sites on my computer. The only proof I have is that they deleted the web history in Firefox and IE. I'm thinking it's because they don't want to get caught of course. Is there some sort of program that runs in the background and records web history?
 
You could use a keylogger maybe?

Or get the programs that the School computers have... Or just create a limited account for your friends...
 
Well you can download softwares that will let you keep everything typed on YOUR keyboard... legally.

What's illegal is to install on someone's computer without him knowing and therefore stealing personal information.

ok, that makes sense. I cant figure out how someone would not know one was installed on their system though :confused:
 
Well if it hides behind some other software... like viruses and spywares.
Sometimes you think you're installing softwares that are not malicious but you are in fact the software installs other files such as spyware, keyloggers, and other malwares.
 
I seriously never installed/used any keylogger, I would google it first and get as many information before installing one.

Be really careful not too install a malicious one.
 
Dunno what do you mean when you say legit, but this thing sure isn't legal!

In fact...This is legal but why use it only on YOUR computer??

Schools use it to know everything that is typed on their computers...
What's illegal about those is when they are used by hackers. Just like a P2P software, the software itself IS legit but most of the time it is used illegally.

He wants to use it to know if his friends are watching porn websites on his computer.
 
Yep, I thought about that when I edited my last post...
See, I'm on my way to the great computer knowledge, and I'm stuck somewhere on the crossroad...what is better to choose? Hacking? To be able to get anything you wanna, wheather it's legal or not..
Or security hacker, to be noble, but get nothing more than your monthly wage...
Ah well, what a hell, I'll learn both, and my excuse will be that the best security hacker must know how hackers think :P
But here I go again, moving way out of this topic...sorry people :(
 
I was into hacking for about two month... Then I realized what I was doing and decided to the opposite and fight hackers :D

I find it more fun to fight them :D There aren't that many Anti-Hackers on the net yet :D.
 
I'm trying to make a Anti-Hackers group that will bring down all those hackers website that either provide hackers tools or just show off their "work"...

I'm also trying to make the forum a Malware remover, where a group of members (Anti-Malware Police) will help victims get rid of their infections...

Yes I got a lot of work... Some dude was helping at the beginning but never continued :P
