Web hosting advice

Hello all,

I need some advice, I want to build a website (most likely using wordpress). The website will be a combination of my portfolio, blog, and personal stuff. Thats why I decided to go with wordpress. The thing is its my second website, I have built one before using moonfruit.

I tried wordpress.com (free) but the space is so limited on this. Wordpress.org recommend dreamhost and bluehost, but I am unsure about signing up for 12 month contract with any hosting site, because there are so many aspects to them all.

Has anyone tried byethost.com for free hosting to get me started? Is free web hosting more hassle than its worth? And can I take my site quickly and easily to another hosting account at a later stage without losing everything?

Thats because he was a spammer. When you see someone that basically gives the definition or explains what the topic of the thread is then the user is most likely a spammer and please report the post so we can look at it.
