i have a computer that i can use as a server and one that is my desktop computer that i could also use. i was wondering how to make the pages i made viewable from the internet. they are html format, not that that will help, lol :D

What OS is on the server? What kind of internet connection do you have? If you have broadband do you have a router?

Windows Server 2003? That is an OS. All computers have an OS or they sit there and don't do anything. Windows is an OS.

Haven't played with Server 2003 yet. I now you have to configure your router to port forward port 80 to your server's local IP.

I can't really think off the top of my head what to do in windows at the moment. But all it boils down to is using the IIS web server and putting all the HTML files and stuff in the right folder.

you can just install http server software on your computer. This is what I use
http://www.tucows.com/preview/195629. You will want a static ip address. You can usually pay $5 extra to get one through your isp, Then you will want to go in to your router and set it up to forward the incoming http port to the computer that is running the http server.
