Hi all users of the forum.
I run and test me softly with web hosting and things in that subject.
When I run and test me with apache on win server 2008 r2 enterprise, and what I wonder is whether the windows own web server application works (iss) as well as Apache and other 3-party software?
I find the Internet Information Services (IIS) light and easy to host sites becuse it is easy to add any additional modules like PHP, etc.
So what do you use on windows to hosting sites?
Give me tips and info to this.

Sorry for my english, i am from norway :)

Confilict

wtf1337 What you are talking about is 2 competing systems. If you are running IIS generally you don't want to run Apache. Both of those applications listen to the same ports and when you run them you are going to have conflicts. If this is your first time setting up a web envelopment you might want to use plesk for windows.

You should have been able to ask your server hosting provider this information. If your hosting company does not have live support you might want to look at brinkster.com
