webcam issues

Easy question. I have an old webcam (HP ew192aa) Microsoft says it'll work out of the box on windows 7 64 bit, but windows 7 is telling me different. I tried the website drivers (windows vista and xp only), but no luck. Any suggestions? Sad thing is, I've gotten the thing to work before but I can't for the life of me remember how.

I have a 193AA and have been using it on 7 without an issue. Does HP have the drivers for it?

Maybe Win & will auto download the right drives with the Windows updates (the optional ones) Did that for me several times
