webcams

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows of any software that monitor's a webcam on a network. It is not a IP camera just a logitech quickcam chat and I don't want it to upload to a website of anything like that.

I just want something that will allow me to monitor a usb webcam over a network.

Any ideas?

I think this would work if you didn't want to pay for anything, i am downloading it at the moment and will tell ypou how i go on with it once if ind my webcam, alternatively if you didn't mind having someone at the computer with the webcam connected you could use netmeeting, or something similar

I just tried this with my video camera and for some reason ic oudln;t get it to work, although i think this may be because i was trying to view the stream with media player classic rather than 9 as stated, but it is 100% free and i would definately give it a go
