So I have a website which I created for my parents about 2 yrs ago. It is more for local business (credit cards and shipping)... But I am going to redesign it now and I was wondering if there is a better way for me to create the pages which have the for sale products on it. Currently I use PayPal for Shopping cart and checkout (works great, no complaints).
My main gripe is my parents change the prices to match the market of the product, and it is difficult changing the HTML every time. Is there a way I can define the price of all the products in a common location. For example I have one sheet with the prices all listed on it (something like an excel spreadsheet) and the html pages refers to this document every time someone clicks add to cart?
Like the price for productA is listed in document GlobalPrices.xls field A2
