website design help!

hello guys!i have been on d move of designing a simple website basicly for an affiliate maketing for now but will go for professional ones later.the problem is thag i am confused if i will need a customer database to be designed also or if i will be provided with such database in a hosting package i ll purchase cos i ve seen several tutorials online but didnt go about d basics of d design.any guide,link to solve this problem is much appreciated.

if you are willing to have a website with no database requirements then you can use any programing free web designing softwares, and if in case u want the database requirements like for keeping the record of your consumers etc then you should have knowledge of mysql and php, the packages that the hosting companies supply is that they will have the required programes or softwares running on there server like , you have to configure and program your website to make use of them,
and if u purchase a hosting package , most of them will meet all the requirements to run a database driven website
