Website for A-Level

Hey guys, I'm making a website for my A-Level work, we are mainly working on SEO but we do also get marks for layout and design.
We are using dreamweaver, which is why the coding is terrible, but the course requires it so nothing I can do on that front. :(

I know of some problems (mainly the Products & Peripherals dropdown buttons not working on the NavBar) but you can use the sitemap at the bottom of the page to navigate around the pages. :) It is still unfinished, so I apologise in advance. Any feedback would be much appreciated. :D

My site URL is: http://pixelproviders.outwoodict.com/

Search the internet for free website templates, and modify one. Yours is very very basic, and no client would trust a website that looks like it's from 1995.

If it's feedback you really want, here's some tips:

1. Use less images. The site loads hard. Or better, use more thumbnails for your products, and use big photos only on product page.
2. Change the background. Put some noise or pattern, monochrome background is repelling.
3. Use some hover feedback for the buttons. People like to feel when a button is pushable.

Website templates are OK... but I think that with current business today it's better to not re-develop the wheel of web development and to move towards using a content management system like Joomla or Wordpress. This way you can have a killer looking website, with SEO plugins and not spend weeks putting it together. Joomla and wordpress have ton's of professional looking themes (Like Yootheme, Rocketheme for Joomla and Themeforest.net for Wordpress). For a business that is in it's beginner years, its time well spent to develop using one of these CMS's and when you start building your businesses and need more customizations, you can move away at that time.
