website ranking question

I live in Malaysia and i am wondering that if i host my website from a hosting company in USA like justhost, hostgator....etc, when someone searching information on Google Malaysia, will my website show up even though my website has embedded META and TITLE tag?

Yeah your website will show up. It only depends on your site ranking. Like mine is registered in India still it comes first in google.com which is a world wide one.
Oh wait my website comes first in google Malaysia too :)
 
Thanks for your help ....... May i know how to increase the google ranking? Do i have to pay google? or just put better title and meta tag on my website ?
 
Yea you can get your website to the top buy paying google, you can even put good meta contents to get you site to the best rank.
But the best way is to publish more and useful content on your site that will attract users and that will increase ur rank.
 
You need to have backlinks from pr5+ sites to your site with high quality content. Create a blog and constantly post on beneficial information.

Join Haro and try to get some free quality backlinks by providing quality information.

Submit your site to the search engines so they can crawl it. Make sure you have a sitemap.xml. Have links to every page on your site with no dead ends.
