There's a sale right now with this machine http://www.ibuypower.com/info/Flash-Sale.aspx
It's $1200 off for the weekend. I've never really been an AMD/Radeon guy, but I've been looking to build a gaming rig and was just wondering if any of you guys have input on why they would have such a huge sale for the components in this rig, seems too good to be true. Also, would this be my best bet for a rig in the 1-1.5k price range? Thanks!

Yeah it certainly looks like a powerful beast. I'm not sure why they've got £1200 off, maybe it's just a deal they've got going on? iBUYPOWER is a reputable system builder, so I wouldn't be worried about reputation if you're planning on buying it.

The HD 7990 is worth about $600 alone, so yeah it is a good deal and if you're looking to buy it pre-built, it probably is your best bet in the $1-1.5k range.

Not a bad price, you're getting an HD 7990 and FX-9590, a decent case,decent motherboard, and OS for a better price than you can build for (although, the FX-9590 isn't worth the MSRP in many peoples opinions). Only thing on their preconfigured build that I'd change is the power supply...it's a ~$30 upgrade to a 750W Corsair or ~$50 to an 850W Corsair but definitely worth it IMHO. (Apparently selecting the 650W gives you a free upgrade to 750W, and choosing the 750W will give you an 850W).

The price is actually really good. Go to a Corsair PSU and you actually have a pre-built rig that would be cheaper than you could build it for.

Yeah exactly. There's no way you could build a PC like that for $1400 or however much iBP is selling it for.

I think it's because of AMDs Hawaii launch. They just revealed all their new GPUs a day or two ago, having a $600 GPU (The R9 290X) that'll be better than a Titan.
My guess is that we'll see a slash in AMD prices in general soonish. This deal is very good.
The HD 7990 alone costs $900 in my country, so I'm a bit jealous.

Here's exactly what I would do, if I were to buy this PC at this sale:
Asetec 550LC Standard -> Silent High Performance fans +$9
Make sure you get all your free games with AMD Never Settle (You get 3 games)
AZZA 850W -> Corsair AX760 +$69 (But you get a $50 mail-in rebate, so it's only +$19 really)
Add an Adata SX900 128GB SSD +$34

Increases the total from $1399 to $1513 ($1463 with MIB), but makes the build much nicer in my opinion.

If you can/dare (there are most likely fan wires attached), please open the side and take a picture. I'm very interested in how the cable management is set up.

Holy hell, that's a steal. The 750 and 850 PSUs are Corsair TXV2 models so they're Seasonic made. Be sure you get those.
