Weird crash, help me solve it please.

Hey guys I'm having a weird crash on my pc right now it just started today.
I will be using the pc and all of a sudden little green boxes popped up all over my screen then the pc locked up. Since this happened the first time it has continued all day. I started the pc in safe mode and I had small green lines going through everything. July first thought is its a graphical issues either card or driver, my video card is only a few weeks old so I hope it's not the card. I am getting ready to try a system restore I case it's driver related. Any ideas?

For the record my gpu is an ASUS DirectCUII gtx770
 
Just discovered I am getting the same lines through my bios as well and on my widndows install cause I was thinking of doing a format. My motherboard is a ASROCK fatality z77 proffessional
