Weird display from broken GC, can it be recovered?

Hi!
I've had my ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 graphics card for a long time now, but all of a sudden, I got gray bars all over my screen. Couldn't see the desktop or the cursor. Thinking it was just some weird technical bug, I restarted the computer. It booted up and everything looked normal. Everything was fine for a day or two until it happened again. It kept happening more frequently to the point where I couldn't use the computer anymore, because it kept displaying some weird stuff... (take a look at the screenshot I attached)

Now, I've tried with these things, but alas, they haven't helped:
  • Change screen cable.
  • Change the entire screen. (Borrowed one from work.)
  • I removed the graphics card and put it in another computer.
  • I removed dust from the card, making sure the airflow was still good.
  • I made sure all cables sat properly, the DVI port was looking good (even switched to HDMI)
And that's pretty much all I've tried. So it's definitely the card that's faulty with something, and I was hoping someone has an idea of what that might be. The warranty is void since a long time ago, so I'll try anything, haha! I now use the DVI port on my motherboard, and it works just fine.

Oh, and btw: when the glitches occurred, I wasn't doing anything particular to put my graphics card to the test, I was simply browsing the Internet when it happened. I wasn't playing any games on the highest settings or rendering a home video. So I do not believe it's the cooling/paste that's the problem here.
Plus, this screen above happens right after I start the computer, even if it has been off for an entire day.

So what do you guys think?
Thanks!

You can try the oven method but in the interest of keeping your warranty valid I would recommend you don't bake it and instead just send it back and if need be use those photos as evidence. That's assuming you still have a warranty. If not then I'd stick it on eBay as faulty, somebody will buy it. I sold an old X800 XT on eBay as faulty and somebody took it off me. ;)
