weird. help plz

hi im not sure if this is in the wright place but here goes.
yesturday while on the pc i was on this furom and all of a suddan the page kept filiing down so i went to quit the browser and the are you sure click yes/cancel thing came up and the buttons on that were flickering to and i could not do anything i brought up the task manager and that was flickering
so i pushed the restart button on the case when my pc came back on everything was fine so i thought it was just one of those things but later on it did the same again when i was just talking on skype so i did a system restore to yesturday but it did it again and it kept doing it more frequently
luckely i had a norton ghost image that i did earlier in the week so i did that and everything is know fine i just want to know what you think it could of been so i can avoid it in the future im still a bit worried that it might be some sort of hardware failing what do you think
 
That's a very weird problem. I have found in the past that wireless mice can sometimes be stuck on the "on" position, when there's a lack of connectivity with the receiver. Could it be that, causing phantom mouse clicks?
