Weird message from USB hub coming on

I seem to be getting this message that there has been a power surge on the usb hub, recently i had a usb2.0 pci card installed, since all my onboard usb had just screwed right up. I had them enabled in the bios but it still didnt solve the problem.Right now theres nothing even plugged into my usb, and it only comes on during times when im playing games like bf2,cod2, so on

1 gig ocz platinum
some 400w psu that came with the case
 
had a similar problem with the front usb ports. The headers werent hooked up right (cyber power problem, not mine), and i get a message about voltages. It also fried 2 of my flash drives.

But im not sire whats going on with yours, since you say it happens to the ones integrated onto the motherboard.
 
Drivers

In my opionion it looks like your having a driver problem. It also could be a wire hanging half-way out. Check your wiring make sure the plugins are secure. If that doesn't work get new USB drivers.
 
i had exact the same problem before when i tried to put USB memory stick in front of my computer that is not even hooked up and then i tried playing wit it and it still do the same thing. so i just end up using the one from the back of my computer and everything works fine now... r u tryin to put em on the USB slot that came wit the case or its the one that u buy and u put on CD rom drive space.
