Weird Monitor Problem

Yesterday, I went to go eat dinner, left my computer on, turned my monitor off.
Came back, turned my monitor on, and it lit up, like on the edges, but remained black.

So I plugged another monitor in, and it worked fine.

Set up dual monitors with the two.
They both worked perfectly.

So this morning I turned on one monitor, *and it was the original one, that stopped working the night before* And it showed my DS3 logo and stuff, as usual. And it went black, with the light on the edges, and I turned the second monitor on and they both started working...

Then I loaded windows, and turned the second monitor off, and I am currently on the one I was always on, that 'stopped working'



Whats wrong with the monitor?

Does this happen on just one monitor? Have you tried to replicate the problem on another?

If I understand you right, you have a dual monitor setup but usually only have one on at a time? This may be kind of an obvious question, but are you sure you are using the primary one as the main one?
