Weird network behaviour

Hi, I have a problem and I can't find out what cause it. There are 5 laptops and 5 mobile phones connected into our home network. They are connected via Wi-Fi router. Sometimes, let's say, once a week happens, that the connection fails. The computers are connected to the network, but can't connect to the internet. Weird thing about all this is that it always happens only to 4 laptops, the remaining laptop and all 5 phones work with no problem. It's always the same devices who stays working. Only solution for this situation is to reboot router, which helps, but sometimes only for few minutes. So we have to reboot it many times and then it's OK for another week.

I can't find out what could cause such a weird behaviour. Can you please help me?

Thank you in advance.

Can you ping the default gateway/router address or a host on the Internet when this happens from those clients?

What router do you have? When did you buy it? It's probably a bad router.

It's router TP-Link TL-WR740N and yes, it has the latest firmware. I have for about 4 years, but only few months connected in this house.

So you think it's bad router?

Next time you are unable to access the internet, open Command Prompt and try pinging google.com as well as 8.8.8.8. Since you can access your gateway that isn't the problem, it may be a DNS issue.
