Weird SpeedFan graph

In January I installed a 350W Antec SmartPower 2.0. There was a new readout shown when using SpeedFan, and it went up and down in lockstep with the case temps, so I named it Case II.

Yesterday, I noticed the numbers for the Case II temps going all over the place, as low as 39°F (4°C); the graph below shows a sample of what's happening. I've no issues with anything, everything runs fine, the PSU's internal fan is working, and its exhaust fan dutifully starts up when interior temps go high from using Folding@Home. I guess my question is, "Is a temp sensor dying on me?"

it sounds like something speedfan has maybe recognised as a temp sensor, but really isn't, or isn't compatible with sppedfan, I always have a problem like that, something that says 69 degrees, on my graphics card, at first i was a bit worred by it, but my card wasn't even slightly warm, so i owuld say it is some kind of error in speedfan

usually temperatures are measured using resistors wich are temperature dependant. that would mean the temperatures of that sensor have a change of about 50 degree C, several times withing a few seconds,. and tbh, that seems a bit impossible to me :)
i wouldnt worry about it too much, i think its data speedfan read's as a temperature reading, but it could be for example the rpm of the Fan in the PSU ( that would be my guess :o )
