weirdest thing!

I just got my new comp today, which has an AMD Sempron 2800+, and i got a score of 3716 on 3DMark03, and on my pentium 4 3.0Ghz i got around 3500, and on the Celeron D 2.4Ghz i got around 600. I had the same video card, memory and hard drive in all computers (ATI 9600XT, 1GB Corsair ValueSelect, 200GB SATA). What i find to be really weird is that the sempron 2800+ did better then my P4 3Ghz w/ht. I also ran halo at highest settings with no lag. And it only costs $70, vs a P4 at $200. lol

yup most amds perform better at games and the semprons do really well i am not surprised you got yourself a good gaming rig

nice, if i ever need a budget pc, i'll go with a sempron instead of a celeron
