well a new psu didnt fix the problem

i had similar problems with mw2 on the pc in my sig. but the problem was that vista was taking too much resources. my setup isn't as nice as yours (wish i had a better cpu). i reloaded xp home and updated it to sp3 and made sure all the software was up to date.now it runs perfect. now if i could just get more than 1 kill in a match i will be fine. lol.

Try running furmark, and see what sort of temperatures you get on the gpu under load.

thanks but i think i fixed it i took out my capture card and it seems to be work fine now.
