all my specs are in my sig...i wanna run windows 7 since all ive heard is good i have windows xp 32bit right now....but im still not sure what i should upgrade too and if i even have a good enough computer to run windows 7...so some insight would be great

is windows 7 really worth it thoe i dont really game that much or anything i just listen to music browse the internet and watch alot of movies?

i might give linux a shot then since its free but ima need to learn how to portion my hard disc so i can run unbuntu

if i have the 32 xp can i still install the 64bit ubuntu on a portion of my hard drive and have everything work right?

You need to boot from the disc, or USB, whichever you decide to use.

There's a key that you keep tapping when your computer is starting up to access the quick boot menu.

On my computer, I keep tapping Esc, then it asks me where I want to boot from.

Your computer may have a different key, but try Esc.

ok i learned what i did wrong i didnt write the file to the cd correctly now im trying to partion my hard drive its saying i only have 186 gigs and 7.8 mb of free space...when i know i have a 200gig hard drive

ok i got it but it still wont let me partion my hard drive it says i only got 7mb of free space and it wont let me turn any of my hard drive into free space when i know i should have atleast 30 or 40 gigs of free space

you gotta resize your NTFS first, then lay down a new partition of the free "non partitioned space. Read through that link I sent you, about a few links down is a wiki on how to.
