It says my biggest problem, is my memory. I think i herd about some feture in vista, that allows you to use a memory stick to help improve system performance. is this true?

That can easily run Vista, thats why those programs are complete BS.

It's an nVidia 6150 im guessing right? If so, that can easily run Vista and all of it's 3D effects.

Obviously a computer with the following specs can run Windows Vista Ultimate with all the 3D effects:
Core Duo 1.83
1GB RAM
256MB 6600

Even my PC is able to cope with this upgrade according to the guys at http://www.pcpitstop.com/vistaready/ (requires IE5+, not Firefox, Opera, yada yada yada).

Apparently, my PC, which has been bought off the shelf as a budget package, and upgraded using budget parts (come on, I have a 7 month old son!) from PC World and, occasionally, eBay. The attached screen shot shows that mine is apparently decent enough - ergo, yours must be!
