WEP code needs entering each time i boot up

Hi - I have just installed a netgear wireless dongle and software on my PC (Windows XP). It works fine, but each time I boot up I have to first eneter the WEP code, via the netgear software whcih seems to boot up automtically, before going on line. Can I set up the computer so that the wep code is automatically loaded when the pc boots up. Many thanks
