Western Digital Caviar Black Connection

Hello,

I'm trying to build a computer for the first time and I have a question about the cable needed to connect the hard drive. I'm planning to get a 1tb and 500 gb Western Digital Caviar Black. Should I just get a regular SATA cable or a SATA 2 cable? I haven't really seen the SATA 2 cables but one reviewer said one of those cables is needed to get the 3gb/s speed. Is this true?
 
No its not true. The a Sata (called) II, it has a locking clamp. Stays on better. Both have no performance loss.
 
Exactly....thought I prefer the SATA 2 with the locking clamps, since I have my cables routed throughout...
