western digital lifeguard doesnt recognize HDD...?

So a while ago my lifeguard diagnostic tool for my WD Hdd showed me an error. I called up western digital and they told me to reinstall windows, so i did. With my new windows it doesnt even show up on the diagnostic tool now. Any ideas?

What type of installation do you have? Is it a raid setup? Is it a SATA or IDE drive?

got it i had to run it as an admin. Im using windows 7 professional but I am on a home computer. is there any way for me to make it so i dont need to run anything as administrator but it just does it on its own?

I know with western digital you have to run it as administrator or it won't work, not sure with seagate and others. Not sure about how to make it default or if its even possible.
