there's this thread "http://www.computerforum.com/54075-password.html".
It doesn't work on win2000.It executes but nothing happens. what command do i use in win 2000 to remove administrator password.

help greatly appreciated.

You don't unless you're logged in as admin to begin with. Well, there is a way to change passwords with a little utility you boot from floppy, but I'm not going to tell you what it is as I have serious doubts that your intentions are legitimate.

Anyways, log on to your admin account, any account with admin rights, and remove the password via the control panel.

The more you speak the deeper you bury yourself. If it's his/her computer to be screwing around with, s/he would have admin rights. He would have to give them to him/herself when installing Windows.

Sorry, but I'm not helping you.
