What AMD do I have?

How do I find out what version my AMD is? All I know is that it's a AMD 2400+.. How do i find out if it's an AMD 64 or whatnot? Thanks.

"Level 2 - 256KB Latency: 20 cycles"

Good? or bad? I am such a newb.

look in the first tab on the application labbelled cpu. that should give you your exact model name and core

Uhh... I might be wrong, but I don't think AMD made a Athlon 64 2400... you might want to check that your processor is running up to speed.

he could be running a high end athlon 64 and was actually quoting the processor speed

or someone could ave changed the ID string read by CPU-Z. I saw an Athlon 64 with SuperFluffy Technology once

Actually it says a lot more than that (hopefuilly). See the box that says "codename"
