they use to be only $20
i have one but i messed it up when i went to the Philippines :(
Also probably the best headsets come from platronics
http://www.plantronics.com/gaming/en_US/index.html?WT.mc_t=Gaming&WT.mc_n=nam&_requestid=1017737
the last 2 are for pc. They make the best but a little expensive.

I got mine from bestbuy for $30. Mine are messed up now too, but i think it was because i kinda abused them :/

gaming keyboards....ha....those honestly dont have very much of an effect on gameplay

Yes they do, some have programmable keys which people can use for different action, and some light up so its easier to see at night, and some are designed espeically for gamers.

I understand this attitude though and was biding my time before someone said something :). Although I agree with geoff I also feel that gaming keyboards "can" be a waste. But I must say this is only personal opinion. I would much rather on concerning myself on basic computing experience before gaming when it comes to keyboard. I like lots of multimedia buttons and crap. Mice on the other hand have to be geared to gaming in my opinion. If you have a crap load of buttons on a mouse you don't need tons of buttons on the keyboard. Also keyboards have many keys which can be programed for different actions within games. This is all just personal opinion and I'm very sure though there are more out there that would disagree then agree.

When it comes to effective play though a gaming keyboard geared to gaming I'm sure is a more flexible option then one geared towards Internet and word apps ;).

absolutely, i was just saying that there is a difference between a $10 standard keyboard and a G15. I would much rather buy internal components for my computer than a new keyboard if i want to improve gameplay.
