not much to it. might want to back up some pictures or utilities 1st. when ya boot with the windows 7 it will start up and along the procedure you will format. i suggest you not do a quick format. Use the other option to full format. it will wipe the drive completely and you will have a clean install and ready to go. save any doc files that are important to ya. might want to back up email and browser settings then ya won't have to go through that procedure. after you install and start up get all the updates for the operating system. should do it automatically or goto Windows Update is included in Control Panel. In the future, to check for updates (or if this web page doesn’t open Windows Update automatically):
Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click Windows Update. might have to reboot and do it again several times until ya get er done.
then ya can install all the favorite programs. virus programs or what ever.
