What ASUS motherboard is best for video editing???

Hi everyone, im planning on buying a new computer, i currently have a PIII 1000Mhz with 320 m ram, with a 14.3 gig hard drive, this computer is a total shit for what i need to do, could some one help me on choosing the right mother boards for what i need.

go with Intel for video editing, then depending on if you want PCIe/PCI or AGP/PCI based boards either an i915 based board (PCIe, LGA775) or an 865 based board (AGP, LGA775 or S478)

Do you have a reason for this or is this just more fanboysim? Video editing has been and will probably be for some time still, an Intel game.
