What brand motherboard is the best?

I what a new motherboard, and I want the best, 8 RAM slots, dual processor support, over clocking support, etc....
Can someone recommend some good brands?

O and I was thinking about going with an AMD Athlon processor :D

If you want a motherboard like that, you're likely going to have it custom built. 6 RAM slots is the highest I saw, and that was piece of shit mobo.

Are you sure you mean dual processor support (2 processors)? Or do you mean dual core support.

What u think I'm stupid and don't know anything about comps?


I want dual processor support (two processors on the same motherboard)
And yes I want 8 RAM slots.

Here have a look (I'm not saying I want this board I'm just saying that it support want I want)
 
Well, the Athlon series does not support dual processor configurations. You will have to look at the Opteron Series, or the Intel Xeon Series. If you really so desire, there are motherboards which offer 16 RAM slots, and four processor sockets. These configurations still will not give you the best desktop performance, but if you find some motherboards you like, send me the links and I'll give you some suggestions, I won't find any until you've decided on the CPU, and other factors involved. But I'll be glad to help out.
