As you know theres multiple version to go with the 8800gtx. brands such as Evga, Foxconn ,XFX, MSI, ASUS, etc. But i dont know what one to go with. ill be getting a new computer in about a month, maybe 2 and i plan on going SLI with the 8800's, but which brand should i get? I also plan on getting the 8900 when it comes out and sli them. people tell me to just wait for the 8900, but...i dont want to and nVIDIA hasnt given us a release date so i dont know if its coming out in a couple months or in the next 6 months. On the side note people have been telling me to go with Evga mainly becuse of some...program they have that if the 8900 is released in the next 3 months from purchase of an Evga 8800 i can trade in my 8800 and get a 8900 and only have to play the differnce in retail price between the 8800 and the 8900...or something like that. if someone could clear that up for me i'd appreciate it. But the thing is i dont know if i want the default 8800 Evga has to offer and i dont know if there KO version offers the same 3 month trade in prgram thing. i wanted an XFX XXX edition, but i dont think XFX offers that same program. so if anyone knows of another aftermarket brand that offers the same prgram AND has some kind of offer similar to Evga please let me know. i want an after market brand mainly becuse there overclocked.

They are basically all the same, except a few are pre-overclocked.

I would take into consideration the following in order:
Price (I would go with the cheapest one, if its still a good card)
Stock Speeds
Warranty
Included Items
Brand
Heatsink design

i would go with the evga if you want aircooled

or go with the bfg's if you're watercooling, cause they come with the $180 dangerden water block preinstalled

note, i just checked, and the price on said waterblock is now only $135

it might actually be cheaper to get the cheapest evga and put the block on seperately

well, my pc wont have water cooling and im guessing any bover-clocked brands have a crappy warantee if nonw at all, i guess ill just go with Evga becuse of there upgrade policy.

when you upgrade your video card to a 8900 can i have first dibz on your 8800gtx:D

Nvidia plans to release new cards same time the R600 is released at the end of March/beginning of April. I would wait.
