What can be a project idea on IT/Cyber Security?

I am supposed to participate in a science exhibition where I have to prepare a static/dynamic model on IT/Cyber Security. In other words, I have to find a gap in this industry, fill it and present it accordingly.

So what do you think can be a good idea for this exhibition?

Something that just comes off the top of my head is something like port knocking. Something where a browser uses an encrypted two-way handshake based on a browser verification or something that allows you to connect to a website thereby reducing Nmap scans and server port attacks, i.e DDoS, SYN flood, etc. The idea of port knocking exists, but isn't really defined for wide use in day to day Internet usage.

Of course you need to know a little about servers, ports, Ethernet and read about port knocking on Wikipedia would help.
