What Card should I buy?

I've been asking all the wrong questions until now I just want a straight answer to clear things up before I buy.

I will be playing single monitor 1920x1080 and I want to achieve 60+ FPS on most games on max settings while recording with fraps.

For those of you who don't know fraps reduces fps by about 15-20.

Radeon HD 7970 3GB, Nvidia geforce GTX 680 4GB, or other?

Those are both very good cards. If money is no issue then get either one. If you would like to save a little the GTX 670 would do what you want or the AMD 7950. Your running a standard 1920 X 1080 so your not running anything extreme like multiple monitors or 3D. I'm in the middle of my new build and I've been researching and asking similar questions. :good: I'm probably going to get the 670 just because I've ran AMD the last 3 computers I had. Something different for me. My build is very similar to what you posted in your other thread;

i5 3570K instead of 2500K
Z77 mobo
Basic CM 212 Cooler
8 GB instead of 16
1TB instead of 2
Added a SSD for O.S.
Seasonic 520 instead of a 650 corsair

I don't plan on SLI or CF down the road only want to run one card so my psu is plenty.
