I am rather uniformed when it comes to computers so forgive my ignorance. I have an old Dell dimension and just bought a Samsung 2233 monitor to view a webcast sports event. My computer's graphics card does not support the resolution of the monitor 1920x1080. Dell tech support recommended a ATI Radeon HD2400 PRO 256 MB DDR2 AGP Graphics Card. Would this be sufficient? If not, what is the least expensive or reasonable graphics card I can buy to utilize the monitor? I don't do any gaming so I don't believe I need a high end card.
