So I have been looking for those 15.6" computers to buy (in Denmark):

Acer Extensa 2509-C0YR
Pacard Bell Easy Note (V11HC-20204G50Mnks (NX.C1QED.008))
Packard Bell Easynote TE (PBNXC2CED039)
Lenovo B590
Packard Bell Easy Note Core i3

All those are around same price-scale in Denmark (approx. 450 $)

I have also been looking to these smaller notebooks (11.6"):

ASUS X200MA-KX382B
Toshiba Satellite NB10t-A-10G
Toshiba Satellite NB10-A-10U

Those are also around same price-scale.

Now I wonder which of these I should buy, so could you please try to explain the differences to me and summit which you would prefer - both 15.6" and 11.6". Thank you!

I would be glad to put some specifics in, if you are unable to find those :)

Sorry i didnt have much time to look up the specs but bigger is usually better as far as screen size goes. and brand i would look at the lenovo (Its an IBM Brand) or the toshibas (they have the most secure bios) There prob the 2 best brands that you listed. Id stay away from acer just because they use buget parts so not always the best choice unless you get a great deal on one. Asus is kinda a mid range brand there a bit better than acer but not much.

Personally (depending on specs which like i said i havent look at yet) id go with the lenovo there a great brand and really starting to make a good name for themselves.

The Lenovo is a bit more expensive than the others, and as I see them it isnt better.

The Lenovo is Celeron 1005M Quad Core 1,9 GHz processor, with 4 GB ram and 500 GB HDD.
The one Packard Bell is Pentium 2020M Dual Core 2,4 GHz processor, with 4 GB ram and 500 GB HDD.
Another Packard Bell is with Core i3 3217U 1,8 GHz procesoor, with 4 GB ram and 500 GB HDD.

At that link it says that the Pentium 2020M is a bit better than the core i3 3217U?

Acer is a pretty crappy brand in terms of the quality and usually break pretty early on. Lenovo have a great reputation and for the bigger one that is the one I would go for. for the smaller ones I would go with Asus.

Remember performance is irrelevant if it cannot be reliable for an extended amount of time.
