I am building a PC. My plan so far is to go with...

AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800
Seagate Barracuda SATA 250GB HD
Antec Sonata II Case w/ 450w PSU
ABIT AN8 ATX AMD Mobo
Patriot Dual Channel (2x512MB), 184-Pin DDR SDRAM
Sapphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis Video Card

What kind of Cooling Fan/Heatsink should I put in? I am looking for something quiet and something that will fit well in my case.

And let me if you have any other suggestions/mods I should make to my plan here...

Thanks

My price range is about 75. I am a first time builder and do not know too much about overclocking, but as I learn more about it, I imagine I might want to.

Well with $75 jsut for cooling there are a lot of options. I reccomend from personal experience the Thermalright XP-120 and a 120mm fan. It is also compatible with your motherboard.

I've got an Arctic Cooling fan/heatsink for my athlon 64 3700+.

It's got a blue LED fan, and its real quiet. Pretty much silent. I think on newegg its like 19 or so dollars, to me it was worth it. At the time I paid $23. It almost seems like too good of a deal, but I have windows power contorl set to "maximum battery" so it keeps the voltage as low as 1.1 Volts and runs at 1000 Mhz when browsing the web or idleing. It kicks up the voltage seamlessly when I do some other applications to 1.5V at 2.2Ghz, and everything in between since it only gives the CPU how much energy it needs. Anyways, so the fan only turns on when the CPU gets somewhat hotter. Right now my computer is idleing at 39*C, with one slow 80mm fan exhausting the air. I like that heatsink/fan, so you should consider taking a look at it.
