What Corsair PSU would cater my needs?

Hello there,

I am building a performance gaming rig. I have chosen the following components so far:

CPU: AMD black edition quadcore 3.5ghz (hopefully will overclock to 4ghz)
GPU: Sapphire radeon 6870 (but may want to crossfire in a few years)
Case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower
Display: 27 inch samsung HD..not so important to my question xP

So really my question is what Corsair PSU do you reccommend, for a crossfired radeon 6870 and an overclocked 4ghz quadcore CPU? I dont need it to be modular. I want a bit more wattage than i absolutely need, to be safe. Does crossfiring a 6870 GPU ever not fit in a case or on a motherboard? Just to make sure i have an appropriate case. Thank you :-)

Also, around about how much wattage would be added to psu demands, by adding the second radeon 6870, in your opinion? during gaming and during idle. Thanks :-)

Thanks tech savvy :-) Im from New Zealand so the conversion is difficult, because products actually cost more US dollars here. NZ is just expensive for components. What PSU do you think would be a bit more than i need, and thats kinda what i want xP Yes your idea about the CPU is really good and i kinda regretted buying the quadcore for a while, but i've already bought it xP But i must say, I've done some research and i havent found anyone that thinks games utilise 6 cores yet or will anytime soon :-)

I have the Corsair Professional Series Gold 750w PSU(in sig) and it runs everthing ive got with alot of head room. this PSU cost me $179.99(now its $159.99),but thats in the U.S i have no clue where and how much it would cost there.750w would be a good start, I posted a thread a while back about "can the Corsair Professional Series Gold 750w power two 6870's system and all" and everyone said yes with no problem. It was for a build that i was doing for a friend of mine.

Thats really cool! Good advice. I've been doing a lot of research since my last post, and a review on the tx950 has me sold :-) It's good to know what everyone was saying about your thread as it gives me a good guide :-) Thanks!
