What could be the problem?

I am having issues with my internet connection, last 48 hours it is having the problem.
The problem is the connection is getting connected for 10 minutes and after that getting lost for 5 minutes and again for 10 minutes it connects and again gets lost. What could be the problem?
The modem is also acting strange. Please any help?
 
If the modem is acting weird then try unplugging it and wait a few minutes and plug it back in. If its still acting weird then its most likely failing on you. Contact your provider first to make sure its not an issue on their end before replacing the modem.
