what cpu cooler should i get??

right now im running CM Hyper n520... temps are Idle--34 and running internet-- 44... im lookin to get a new fan thatll just cool the thing down.. cause since the cpu is running so hot, it wont let me run a lot of programs...
Any suggestions on a new cooler? i got corei5 2300 lga 1155/1156

How does running internet get your temperature to 44C.
Post your temps on full load.
Run Prime95 and use realtemps and post a screenshot withh cpuz on the side.
 
i honestly dont really know how to rune prime 95... idk what everyting means .. what settings should i make and all that jazz... but i got a new cooler.. a hyper 212 and temps have dropped a lil... but back to the same as the stock cooler...
I think the RAM might be heating up too much and causing the entire case to heat up.. i got corsair xms3
 
check if all fans not blowing air inside keeping the air inside might do this.
also check the heatsink and see if it touches the CPU and or sits properly which will help.
also using too much thermal paste or none at all will do similar.

check that the fan is connected properly and the cables are WORKING properly, i had freezer 7 pro and had that issue turned out to be cables were loose and the CPU fan will turn off for sec to few sec and turn back on, it was the speed fan alarm that showed me fan being disconnected and making that problem
