What CPU coolers fit on my Mobo?

I have a ASUS M3N-H/HDMI MoBo, and have noticed it is a tight fit between the CPU and RAM slots. . .

What CPU coolers can you recommend for me?

DDR2 800 XMS2 2Gig x2
AMD Phenom II 2.6GHz
ASUS M3N-H/HDMI

saying its a tight fit wont help

measure it, measure your clearance, and search for HSF from then.

Unless someone has this mobo, they can tell you what they got...

I thought the same of my MOBO and was worried about CPU cooler hitting my RAM. I looked online - youtube - pictures - etc with similar socket for some motherboards that had the CPU cooler I wanted. After enough stone turning - I figured out that the heat pipes of the Cooler Master V8 were tall enough to clear my RAM.

If I want to use the second triple channel though - I will have to go with low profile heat sinks - or it might be problematic.

Yeah. . I really like the V8 also. . and don't want to loose a RAM slot as the XMS2 has Heat-sinks that probably will hit the Heat pipes of the cooler. .

Will do the measurements. . .thanks for the feedback guys!

FYI - I got a coolermaster V8 onto this board without a problem

Here's your board

It doesn't look like your CPU is any closer to the RAM - than mine is. I can use all 6 slots - if I get my second triple channel set without tall heatsinks on em. It'd be a squeeze to install it into my case - but I could fit it in there.

Here's a VIDEO with a Coolermaster V8 installed on an AM2+ socket - there are a few angles where you can see the heatpipe clearance over the RAM.
