What do I have to look for in a video card?

Hello, I need to buy a new video card for my computer but do not know exacly what to look for to make sure it will work. I know i need an AGP but don't know what else to look for. here are my specs.
(I don't know what you need so ill post them all, sorry)

whast your max budget...what games do you intend to play and what Psu are you getting?
 
I haven't decided what PSU I am getting yet but it will be around 450w. I am not a hardcore gamer, and anything will be better than what I have now since I currenly have a built in 32mb. I probably will mostly play CAll of duty 4 and spore, which reccomend 128mb. My budget is $100 or lower and since I recenly found out that AGP cards are almost always cheaper, I should be able to make it.
