I am buying a Dell or Acer 24" monitor to go along with my rig, but what else do I need most? I could 2 more Gb of RAM, new speakers, 2 more DVD+/-RW drives, a capture card, or a Raptor and another SE16 250Gb. What do you think?

I might buy the Raptor and SE16 this Winter, so.....

Thanks

Hard to say, I would go for the hard drive first, mainly because I can't justify anything else. I don't know what current speakers you have, don't know what you need an extra 2 DVD drives for, and personally I think 4GB or RAM right now is overkill. If anything I would just get 1GB right now.

So my first choice would be 1GB of RAM, then the hard drive.

Why are you buying a 24" LCD? For around $180 you can buy a nice 22" and save hundreds for only 2" less. Or you can spend around $680 and buy a 28" LCD.

If I go 1Gb, I will definitely jump for 2Gb, that's just my personality.... My dad has Klipsch 2.1 speakers and I wanted some, they are awesome... I have some older Logitech 5.1, I don't even know the series....

I looked at getting these

The hard drive... you mean a second 250GB plus a Raptor? If so, that is what I would go for... I can't make it on just 250GB.

My second choice would be 2GB RAM.

I don't know about you, but the speakers or capture card would be something that I would want because it's cool, but never end up noticing/using.

And why in the world would you need 4 x DVD Burners?
