What do most people use this for?

Do they us it to go into their C drive for example c: for example?

How do you bring up exact files you want? I find it is hard to know what to type to find they exact file I need.

Also when I want to find a file of a file in my E drive I go my computer- e drive- file it is in then scan through those files to find the exact one I am looking for. Is this a slow way, would i be better off using the run function?

I use it mainly to start regedit32.exe and cmd.exe because I am too lazy to look for the shortcuts in the program menus.:D

I don't use it on my home computer with Windows, because I made a batch file and put it in quickstart, but I use Run when I am using anothers computer, and need to use cmd.exe

I mainly use it for programs that otherwise I would have to dig through several menus to get to.

msconfig, compmgmt.msc, mspaint, notepad, calc, control, cmd

I either use it to connect to another computer on my network e.g. \\computer1. I use msconfig.exe and cmd for ipconfig quite a lot too.;)

its also a good way to dig the inner part of your system...what i mean is, many shortcuts or .exe files are opened using the run, for me,its the best way for shortcuts, specially on OS files..just try and discover..

I user run all the time for at work all the time when i am remoteing someone PC

CMD.exe
appwiz.cpl
ncpa.cpl
inetcpl.cpl
mmsys.cpl
sysdm.cpl
compmgmt.msc
devmgmt.msc
diskmgmt.msc
lusrmgr.msc
services.msc

and others

I also user it to hop on someones HDD without them knowing \\*.*.*.*\c$

Me too, I sometimes use it to run IE by putting a url in the box as well.
