What do you guys think of the ECS 945P-A (1.1) Socket T (LGA 775)

You get what you pay for. ECS, in my opinion, makes crappy motherboards. Try getting one made by ASUS, Gigabyte, or Abit. You know, a good company.

Buying a new cheap board is one thin, but buying an ECS board is just a mistake. You can find good prices on entry level boards like the ASUS P5LD2 or Abit AL8/AL8-V. And these are pretty decent boards.

I kinda figured the ECS board wasn't top quality but I just need to get my new system up and running. Money is real tight and ECS is the cheapest board I saw at newegg with all the features I need. I may replace the board with an Asus later.

If you're doing virtually nothing with the dualcore box then you prolly wont notice anything much from the ECS board (although id question why you've got a dualcore box and not using it)

i've had lots of ECSbords including the one i have now, i see nothing wrong with them, and they have a much better layout then the soyo or asus baord i had.
