What do you guys think of this build?

It would help if we didn't have to log into your account to see it :/ Otherwise, we cant see it... Just post links to each product :)

Isn't that video card a lot more inferior than the one I chose? I want this system to last at least a few years.

Your entire build looks like its good to go.
The card from TD, I would watch. I have no clue on the quality of galaxy, but I don't think its very good.

The Galaxy card has alright reviews with the exception of like 3. But your losing a GB of ram on that card as opposed to the MSI, not exactly sure what that would hurt but.... Oh one of the reviews said he couldn't SLI with them very well because of the fans position it overheated one of the cards so I guess if your planning on doing two later on you might have some trouble...

.... I have a stock GeForce GT 120 in mine and I still run the newest games with no problems on any level of detail.... And yes if you want to save money of course it is going to be inferior to what you originally had chosen.... You get what you pay for. So if that offended you then don't come here asking to review a list and help you save money.

Frankly it is very rude =____=

That is, frankly, hilarious. What resolution are you playing at? Your sig says you're still using a CRT, which wouldn't even have widescreen, most likely. Your card would get destroyed playing any current games at 1920x1080. Don't try to mislead the OP by saying he'll see no difference between a 430 and a 560ti. There will be a world of difference.

Lmao are you kidding me? Your just not the brightest crayon in the box are you? If you had ever paid attention to my siggy, which you haven't. You would know that I have had this very video card for the last year and a half. I got it RIGHT before I joined this forum. I had a 27" running with HDMI 1080I and I had NO problems, well until i punched the monitor...

So yeah go ahead and tell me what I deal with every day. Here I will give you an insight so at least you know what Iput this card through on a daily basis, right now I use anywhere from 1-3 different monitors, Varying between HDMI VGA and DVI.... At the office I run a 50" HDMI T.V. providing history shows or whatever everyone in the office wants to see. All of this WHILE I am designing websites and using multiple programs with 1-2 other moniters (generally one cause with 2 I get lag because of all the resources being needed that this card DOESN'T have). Otherwise with just the T.V. and my monitor for everything else it works just fine.

2nd... Never once did I EVER tell him that he won't see the difference between a cheap video card and a mor expensive video card..... In fact what I said was

What I found rude is the fact that he came here asking to save money then complained about some one answering him stating the obvious. IT IS INFERIOR!

I even said that in my response!

So don't sit there behind your computer screen and tell me that I am giving the wrong info....

I gave him a cheaper option and told him that /I/ don't have a problem with any of the games I play on my video card, which the one I offered has the same specs if not better than mine, Right now I have Dirt 3, MWF3, Skyrim, Oblivion, Driver SF, Not even WOW skipped a step on ultimate graphics with this video card.... Why the hell do you think I haven't gotten a new one?

.... But thank you for telling me how my graphics card runs and how I use it on a daily basis GOD!

If it runs the games you like at the FPS you like, then great. More power to you. I'm just saying, if the OP wants to play the latest games at ultra details with good FPS and last a while, the 430 isn't for him.

Like with BF3. Even a single 580 won't give 60fps at ultra settings and AAx4. While that may seem excessive to you, some people like playing games with all the eye-candy on and have it play smooth as silk.

I do apologize that I assumed that about your setup. It was rude, but I don't think the OP's response to your suggestion was rude. He obviously has the money for the extra power and wants it. And while it is saving money, it is most likely he wants to save money without sacrificing performance.

To the OP: You can cut costs in a few areas:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220570

Same specs as the RAM you chose, just less flashy. $10 savings.

Or if you like g skill:

You could look at the coolermaster 912. Big favorite around here. That'll knock off $45.

Yes I am sorry I got all hissy as well. Anyhow it doesn't really matter, what does matter is what he wants, Just OP if you could state your intentions in the future please :) It makes it a bit easier to determine the best product in which you are looking for. I assumed that you didn't care as long as it still played with no lag, which presumably I thought that the video card would been fine and save some cash for you. Anyhow I hope you found what you need :) I think that your computer build will satisfy you in the end :)

Microsoft is ending support for XP soon, so any security updates you need will not be there, risking your computer's well-being. There is no reason to go to XP on a new build.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound rude or complain at all. I know a cheaper card is probably not going to be as good as a more expensive one. My choice of words wasn't so good in using "a lot more inferior".

Basically I won't be doing much intensive gaming on this machine but I am a huge flight sim buff and for once, I would love to play on max settings. So I'm assuming I'm going to need a top of the line card.
